I often make figurative pieces and work with some animals as metaphors for the human condition. But this is really a peripheral focus. I make about three to four pieces like this a year and where they wind up is always in question ? This is a small selection of some in progress and a few finished.

 

I also have a new peripheral focus on sculptures that use the iconography of flowers. The flowers I make are from colored porcelains I mix up and use to hand build fictional flowers.
